Get an Expedited
Visa to Bolivia

Important! Applicants may only apply for a Bolivian visa within 90 days of the date of arrival to Bolivia. 

The application for a Bolivia Visa is filled out electronically. Please review and scan all of the requirements below before you begin as they need to be uploaded during the online application process:

(1) Your passport info page (max. 500 KB).
(2) Bank statement (max. 500 KB).
(3) Yellow fever certificate info page (max. 500 KB).
(4) Hotel reservation/invitation/business letter  (max. 500 KB).
(5) Flight reservation (max. 500 KB).
(6) Police report document (business visa) (max. 500 KB).
(7) Passport size photo, converted into 288x288 pixels.
If you need help converting your photo, please email it to customerservice@passportvisasexpress.com and explain your need.

1. Print a copy of the application you'll download upon completion, and
2. Send us a copy of the visa application along with your passport and supporting documents listed below

You must send your passport – a copy is not acceptable. 

• Your signed passport must have more than 6 months validity remaining to apply for a visa. Visa will not be issued with less than 6 months validity.
• Must contain sufficient blank visa pages. Visas are affixed to the blank "Visa" pages of your passport. "Amendment" pages (clearly marked as such) in the back of your passport are not acceptable for visa issuance.

Please submit one (1) recent passport photograph taken within the last six months.
Please carefully review the Passport Photo Style Regulations.

Important: Please do not cut/trim & staple the photo to the visa application. You can simply attach it with a paper clip or send it loose and we will attach it for you.

You must provide a copy of your confirmed hotel reservation(s) indicating your name, dates of stay, as well as the hotel address and contact information.

However, if you are staying with friends/family/relatives, please provide:
*a signed letter of explanation, plus a printout of address complete with location map,
*3 recent bills (electricity/water/phone), and
*Lease agreement or other related information.

You must provide a clear, legible copy of your most recent bank statement or a letter from your bank verifying you have sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay—$200 per day. Please be sure to white out or remove your account number entirely from the statement.

An International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is required. You may submit either the original booklet or a photocopy of the booklet itself.

You must provide a copy of your confirmed roundtrip airline itinerary indicating the dates of entry and exit from the country you intend to visit. Your name must be on the ticket (do not send an original ticket).

Note: If you are crossing a border by car please write a brief letter of explanation.  Make sure to sign the letter - an original signature required.  A roundtrip flight confirmation to the foreign country closest to your destination is still required.
