ETIAS Travel Authorization: Who Must Apply?

Nationals of any of the Countries listed below are visa-exempt. You must still apply for and obtain an ETIAS Trevel Authorization prior to entering most of Europe:

United States of America

Albania, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Australia
Bahamas, Barbados, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Brunei
Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica
Dominica
El Salvador
Georgia, Grenada, Guatemala
Honduras, Hong Kong
Israel
Japan
Kiribati, Kosovo
Macao, Malaysia, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Mexico, Micronesia, Moldova, Montenegro
New Zealand, Nicaragua, North Macedonia
Palau, Panama, Paraguay, Peru
Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Samoa, Serbia, Seychelles, Singapore, Solomon Islands, South Korea
Taiwan, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tuvalu
Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States of America, Uruguay
Venezuela

If you are a national of any of these countries/territories and you plan to visit any of the 30 European countries for a short-term stay you will need an ETIAS travel authorization. A valid ETIAS travel authorisation entitles you to stay in the any of the 30 European countries for up to 90 days within any 180-day period.
